pdpk Report post Posted 06/28/2004 01:45 PM We have a system with two dialogic cards (4-port each). The system is designed to process incoming calls, and also to make batches of outgoing calls. We are able to specify which lines outgoing calls can be made on by ticking the "allow voiceguide to dial out on this line." Our question is regarding the incoming calls - is there a way in VoiceGuide of "reserving" two of the lines so that they do not accept incoming calls, and are therefore always dedicated to make the outgoing calls only? If so, how would we do this? Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/28/2004 10:52 PM You have to set up the PBX to send the incoming calls on only the lines that are designated to handling incoming call. To ignore calls arriving on other lines you can just set the 'answer after X rings' to a high value (eg 20) but keep in mind that as long as someone's ringing on that line you cannot dial out - because you would be answering their call if you at that time 'pick up' the line to start dialing out...
