AbsoluteControls Report post Posted 06/30/2004 07:53 PM Is it possible to use the Send Email type module to send Email if I am using a dial up connection to the internet that is not always on? Can the module initiate the dial up connection, or is there another way to do this before the Email module is run? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/30/2004 10:27 PM You must have other programs initiate the dial-up connection - and you can start those other programs from a "Run Program" module. Share this post Link to post
AbsoluteControls Report post Posted 07/01/2004 09:12 PM Could you give me an example of how to do this. From the command prompt, I could enter the shortcut .lnk to my Dial-Up Connection, but the Run Command does not seem to allow .lnk shortcuts. Share this post Link to post
AbsoluteControls Report post Posted 07/01/2004 09:15 PM What I meant to say was that the Run Program module does not seem to allow .lnk shortcuts. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/01/2004 11:31 PM Just enter what the link (.lnk) is pointing to. You can find out what is the actual program that the link shortcut is running by looking at the properties of the link. Share this post Link to post
