Guest Ray Firth Report post Posted 07/02/2004 06:32 AM I have a client who has recently purchased a Dialogic setup from Katalina and does not want to use the voice files that were sent with the package. Since there are no instruction manuals and only 2 burned CD's provided with this $1800 package, neither of which has any instructions about setting up the voice prompts, is there a site one can go to to find out about how to set up the voice prompts before or after installing the hardware and software. Thanks in advance to any helpful soul. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/02/2004 07:34 AM From VoiceGuide Help file: Dialogic Wave driver prefers sound files in the following format PCM 11025Hz, 8bit, Mono. When using a Dialogic card, all sound files should be recorded in the above format. (online copy of relevant page can be found here: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/SoundFiles.htm) Just record your sound files in that format and that's it. You may want to check out: http://www.voiceguide.com/servCallflowDesign.htm PS. I was informed that you are referring to sound files which came with the script which was supplied by somebody else - not Katalina. ie: you bought card+VoiceGuide from Katalina, but then the pre-developed script with it's sound prompts came from somebody else...
