SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/08/2004 02:15 AM Looks like the drivers you selected to use for this modem on this system do not enable the modem to report the CallerID, or do not pass on the CallerID information. Are you using the Same version of Windows and the same modem drivers as before? Share this post Link to post
sunday Report post Posted 07/09/2004 06:59 PM I am using same Windows as before and same dialogic driver + sp1. I used a sample program from the dialogic driver and it does show the Caller ID info. The thing that changed from my initial configuration is the VG Version. Used to have Version 5 1.7 and now it is 5 2.2.. maybe something in my vg.ini.. i'll send it over! Thank you. vg.ini Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/09/2004 09:46 PM Which Dialogic card are you using and which Dialogic drivers have you installed? Which Dialogic sample program have you used to test for CallerID? Share this post Link to post
sunday Report post Posted 07/09/2004 09:51 PM i'm using the D4PCI with System Release 5.1.1 with Service Pack 1 I tryed the caller ID with the Multi-Threaded Voice sample program and it made me see the phone number of the caller! Thank you. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/09/2004 10:08 PM Have you perhaps set the Dialogic's TAPI driver's TSP config to report calls after the first ring, and you are not waiting long enough before answering the call? (Caller ID arrives between 1st and 2nd ring) See the "Report Incoming Call" setting on the "Call Parameters" tab of the TSP config - the value for that setting should be 2 (or higher) if you want to receive CallerID. sunday Report post Posted 07/13/2004 02:07 PM I tryied with 2 and 3 and it still doesn't report.. I didn't have to play with config tapi or Vg on the 5.1.7000 version... it is very strange.. the tapi driver is at default settings like before.. is there any other config i could provide you with? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/13/2004 10:17 PM There are no other parameters that I'm aware of.. Did you re-install the Dialogic SR drivers at the same time, or leave them as they were? Share this post Link to post
