We have a PBX that works like this: 1- ringing 2- pick up,if you want to transfer this call ,immediately dial (Pulse Dialing) the extension (without flashhook),The originator will here a melody 3- you have to wait until the destination pick up the phone(if you don't do that,the call will come back to you again!) 4-when the destination picked up,hang up and the call will transfer. I have used an external voice modem to test it. When VG transfers me,I don't hear a melody and I hear a TONE dialing and after that VG hangs up the call but the call is in an undefined situation!!! SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/13/2004 01:31 PM To set up the modem's TAPI drivers send pulse dialing instead of tone dialing you will need to edit the modems TAPI driver .inf file - questions on how to do this should be directed to the modem's manufacturer - they would know what needs to be changed in the modem's driver to make the modem dial pulse instead of tone. I think the Dialogic card can be set up to use pulse quite easily - but again this is something we have not had to try before - pretty much all systems we worked with can just accept tone dialing.
