Guest Ross Irvine Report post Posted 07/22/2004 04:03 AM Reading these forums it seems the Dialogic is the way2go over the way2call. However reading the documentation for the Dialogic D/4PCI it says "A standard telephone will not function when directory attached to the board" I like the ability of the way2call to answer and control internal and external calls. Is there a Dialogic card which has the same functionality? As it seems the Dialogic card can not work with internal phones. Regards, Ross. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/22/2004 08:37 AM That sentence means that you cannot connect a phone handset directly to the D/4PCI. What do you mean by 'internal' calls? Calls made from other extensions on the PBX or when a handset attached to a phone is picked up? Share this post Link to post
Guest Ross Irvine Report post Posted 07/23/2004 04:42 AM I mean having the ability to have standard phones plugged directly into the Dialogic. In the same way, if using a way2call you plug the line into the way2call and can plug a phone into the way2call. So you can have an internal phone plugged into the Dialogic to allow you can use the IVR rather than having to dial an external number so the call routes back into the Dialogic via a normal "line". The way2call also allows you to "ring" the internal phone, Sounds like it's not possible though. Thanks, Ross. Share this post Link to post
