Calls Hanging Up

I am having an issue where one of the 4 extentions I am using to access Voice Guide is getting the calls dropped. It doesn't start the vmail main greeting , it simply dials in, voice guide picks up the call then hangs up.

I have attached a trace as well.

I am using the 4.8.45 version.

Looks like there is something wrong with the wave driver assignments on that line, we can see the error in the trace:

 

waveOutOpen MMSYSERR_ALLOCATED but hWaveOut = NULL

 

Can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first.

To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers.

 

Has this line always had this problem or did it start having it all of a sudden? Did you install any sound related software or any other wave drivers around the time when this started happening?

It started to happen all of a sudden. To my knowledge there hasn't been any other installs done on the machine.

I will try to remove and re-install.
