npeiman Report post Posted 07/25/2004 08:36 PM I am exploring the following with a client: Client has 8 Dialogic D/160 boards originally bought for another purpose, (out-bound sales). Client has service/sales reps in field all with cell phones. Client has VOIP service in their office along with traditional local and long distance service. Scenaero: 8 ports of the D/160 will be connected to regular POTS lines and the remaining 8 ports would connected to VIOP network device(s). A sales rep calls in on one of the local pots line from their cellular phone. He/she then wants to dial out on one of the other 8 ports connected to the VOIP network. Looking to do a few things, verification of the caller, (CID, know how to do this) then a prompt for their ID, and then ask the for the area code and number to call, then dial out over one of the ports on the D/160 connected to the VOIP network. Is this do-able with Voiceguide and the D/160's? Thanks, Neil Peiman Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/26/2004 01:49 AM This is quite easily achieved with VoiceGuide. VoiceGuide can dial out on another line and connect the two calls together. It does not matter if the outbound line is a normal analog line, an analog extension on a PBX or a VoIP device which looks like an analog line to user. Just plug the VoIP device into the Dialogic card and you're all set to go. Use the 'Dial and Conference' option in VoiceGuide's Call transfer module to get all this going. Share this post Link to post
