gilles Report post Posted 07/27/2004 08:31 AM Hi, I rung v4.9.0 version on my PC, running Win XP. My simple IVR used to work OK. I have just reinstalled XP from scratch and have reinstalled VoiceGuide. The program works OK, except for the fact that, when someone hangs up, the state stays on "hanging up call ..." and doesn't make the line ready to accept another call. I have swapped the line & phone connections on my internal modem, but it makes no difference. Please advise Cheers Gilles Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/27/2004 09:46 AM Maybe you have installed different drivers to what you've had installed before? I'd try experimenting with various combinations, if it worked on your system before with the same hardware then you should be able to get it working again... Share this post Link to post
gilles Report post Posted 07/28/2004 04:11 AM Problem not fixed. I have loaded the original driver that I used before. Is there a more recent driver or version that I could try? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/28/2004 11:38 AM You should contact the modem manufacturer regarding other drivers etc.. If the hardware worked for you before then I guess there is no reason why it should not work again... as long as everything is configured the same way it was before... Share this post Link to post
gilles Report post Posted 07/29/2004 12:07 AM Hi, I have updated the modem driver, I have reinstalled VoiceGuide, I have written a new script with "Hang up" function, I have moved the folders to the root directory (c:/), VoiceGuide stops at "hanging up etc ...". Further calls are not answered. Is v 4.9 your latest version? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/29/2004 06:55 AM v4.9 is quite old. current version is v5.2.3 - see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgDownload.htm Share this post Link to post
