Using The Run Program Function

Is there a way to use the RUN PROGRAM function of

version 2.9 to operate the 4.4 ( and above ) versions ?

 

I.E. If I check the box for " Close COM port "

via version 2.9 and then try to access the 4.4 version

within the SAME call and line !???

 

Is this possible ? If so, HOW ?

You can't get v4.x to take over a call that has been answered by v2.x already...
