Guest Mark Connelly Report post Posted 09/04/2004 03:39 PM Hi -- we recently purchased the Creative Modem Blaster V.92 PCI card to test out the Katalina software with the ultimate goal of setting up an IVR system for survey research data. The .wav drivers appear to have installed correctly. However, I cannot use Voiceguide or the configuration wizard in the evaluation version that we have currently, because the error message "TapiWrap.ocx or one of its dependencies is missing..." appears. Is there a way around that in order to at least test out a script using this voice modem? Thanks, Mark Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/04/2004 05:10 PM I'd suggest re-installing VoiceGuide. Which version of VG are you using? Share this post Link to post
Guest Mark Connelly Report post Posted 09/07/2004 12:21 PM As far as I know, we are using the most recent version (5.2.3a), but I will try reinstalling and see what happens. I will post another reply if we continue to have problems. Thanks, Mark Share this post Link to post
Guest Mark Connelly Report post Posted 09/07/2004 04:25 PM Hi -- I downloaded the latest version of the VG evaluation software. When trying to install, it nearly completes but then states "Tapiwrap.ocx did not properly self-register." As such, we still cannot ues VoiceGuide. We are trying to use it with a Creative Blaster v.92 modem, which was recommended in this forum as one of the voicemodems that work with Voice Guide. I would appreciate any suggestions, as we are really wanting to test this but to date have not been able to get the software and hardware to work together. Thanks! Mark Share this post Link to post
Guest Mark Connelly Report post Posted 09/07/2004 04:43 PM Hi again -- I took a look at some previous threads and took the suggestion of deleting some of the .dll and .ocx files. After doing so, I reinstalled VG and it looks like this time it installed okay. Thanks! Mark Share this post Link to post
