Hanging Up

Recommended Posts

Recently with the downloaded 5.2 version of vg it has started to only play the welcome msg. for about (10) sec. then vg just hangs up the call no matter what I seem to change or do.

This is what I've tried:

Reinstall, removal of all other modem programs, condensed and shortened the vgs to about 15, broke down the vgs into 4 smaller vgs, rewrote the vgs for 4.7 and problem duplicated, redirected startup to different module, check and converted and reconverted the wav file.........

There's no error message just goes to hanging up and not the hang up module either.

Does anyone have any ideas?????????????

Looks like the modem is reporting that it has heard a disconnect tone while the sound file Welcomefmcmenu.wav was being played.

Some modems falsely detect disconnect tones while playing/recording sound files or when a DTMF key is pressed by the caller. The only solution in thrse situations is to change the modem or re-record the sound file.
