How To Handle Holidays With Dialer

I am using VG to make appointment reminder calls. I was trying to figure out today what would be the easiest way to handle holidays. Basically I don't want the system to call people on holidays. I am not sure if it is easier to take care of this situation in the SQL query that I have that feeds the outdial numbers to VG or if there is a way in VG to handle it. Either way I go I am unsure of how to automate the process of determining which days are holidays without me making some sort of table manually with all the dates for the next year. Any ideas. How are others handling this?

The best way is to not feed VoiceGuide any numbers if you do not want VoiceGuide to call the numbers.

 

You can set the times and days of week during which calls can be made, but you cannot specify 'dates not to call on' when loading the call to be made.
