Digital Pbx And Voice Modem

Hello all,

 

I was wondering how i could use voice guide within a digital PBX using my voice fax modem???

 

I know that a modem requires an analoge signal, but it says that voice guide can connect using digital??

 

how is this possible.. if it is not, what hardware do i need to connect to a digital PBX, and how can I use that with vg.

Plugging a digital PBX extension into an analog voice modem will not work.

i read about those DPI modems, or the digital to analog to converters?? do these work.

A 'digital to analog to converter' should do the trick here. You should ask your PBX supplier as to what you should be using with your PBX.
