Guest amis Report post Posted 09/29/2004 08:32 AM Dear Support, I setup the credit card file to answear the call, as soon as i called the system, Vg answear the call fine with the correct file and i heard the sound of the credit card. When i recorded a wav sound of my voice with the media player and just create a VG script with "Play Sound File" button, i get an error message when i call. All i want to do is when someone call, he gets to hear my massage. how do i do that? P.S. I looked at the help file for an answear, but it was not much there. Thanks, Amis Share this post Link to post

Thanks, Amis Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/30/2004 08:45 PM If you are using a voice modem then 8kHz mono is what you should be using. see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/SoundFiles.htm Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is going wrong. (When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.) Share this post Link to post

Guest amis Report post Posted 10/01/2004 09:03 AM Thanks Alot.... It is working, however, now the sound on the phone is NOT as clear as it sounds here at the office (I hear something like background noises, even though it is very quite here). Any suggestions? Thanks Again, Amis. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/01/2004 09:01 PM That may be the noise which was due to converting the sound files to another format? Usually some noise is inserted during conversion - that's why for best quality results you should have the prompts provided to you by the studio in the correct format. Share this post Link to post
