kikton Report post Posted 04/29/2003 07:21 AM Hi, I am evaluating VoiceGuide. One thing I cannot figure out is how use Auto Dialer to send out voice calls when you need to use a calling card. That would involve dialing the access number and then entering the PIN, then of course the desired phone number. Any help would be much appreciated. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/29/2003 07:34 AM You can specify the access number, PIN etc in the "Prefix" text box in the bottom left corner of the "Telephone Number Loader". You can use commas to indicate pauses between access number and PIN etc... The specified prefix would be used for every number loaded for that batch. Share this post Link to post
Guest Guest Report post Posted 04/29/2003 04:34 PM I have Telephone Number Loader v4.9.0 where the prefix box is lower center right "Prefix to add" box. Does version make a difference? I put in the calling card access number and pin as prefix but when it dials, it cuts off the phone number to be dialed, like there is a field length limit. prefix to add is ,1888745xxx,,,xxxxxxx (PIN) number to dial is 1919606xxxx but it will dial as 1888745xxx,,,xxxxxxx 1919 <-chops off the phone number Am I doing something wrong? Should I get a different version? Thanks in advance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/30/2003 12:44 AM It looks like the total allowed length of the telephone number + prefix was limited to 20 characters... The attached version allows up to 255 characters, this should resolve your problem. Please delete the file "DialList.mdb" in VoiceGuide's "data" directory, then update your VGDialer.exe with the one attached. The run the Telephone Number Loader (VgDialer.exe) again and it will allow the longer dialing strings to be used. VgDialer_4.9.0_DB_field_size_inc.zip Share this post Link to post
