Making Outbound Voice Calls With D/4pci

Hi, I am new to the Dialogic board technology. I was told that the D/4PCI board would allow me to make phone calls from my PC using my computer mic and speaker but haven't been able to hear anything on the speaker when I call someone. It does dial out and the other person is able to pick up, I just can't communicate with him. Was I given bad information?

You will not be able to talk to the other person using the computer mic and speaker when calls go through the D/4PCI.
