Guest Jay Report post Posted 11/08/2004 09:00 PM The software must be able to bill credit cards from touch tone entry and keep track of call length and destination. Here are some tasks: Handle 10+ incoming calls at a time; Play a pre-recorded message with a menu and allow for touch tone entry; Process credit card numbers from touch tone number entry or pre authorize the number; Transfer calls to a long distance carrier; Record length of call from the moment of transfer until the call has ended, including the time, date, credit card info etc. Bill the credit card for the appropriate amount; Keep track of records of all phone calls, transactions etc. Please let me know if your software can do this and the system hardware I will need. SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/08/2004 09:35 PM Yes. VoiceGuide can do this. You will need to use ISDN T1 or E1 lines to allow for precise 'start-of-call' and 'end-of-call' time information. This system would be relatively easy to set up - just get your ISDN T1/E1 lines set up by your phone company, install Dialogic T1/E1 cards - look into using D240JCT, D480JCT, D300JCT D600JCT or DMV600B or DMV1200B cards. You will need to use the Enterprise+Dialer license of VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
Guest jay Report post Posted 11/09/2004 11:04 PM When a call is forwarded, and assuming your software that counts the length of the call, is one of the phone lines of the phone board busy, or can it be used for other calls? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/09/2004 11:36 PM For such applications you will be using 2 channels per call - one for incoming leg of call and one for outgoing leg of call. Share this post Link to post
