Send E-mail Module Only Seems To Send .com Mails

Do I have to change or modify something first in order to use the 'Send E-mail' module for sending e-mails with extensions other than the .com extension?

 

I'm using the 'Use SMTP to forward e-mail direct to the mail server' option. The IP adres of the SMTP server is in the SMTP server box.

Version: Voice Guide Enterprise Edition 4.8.45 with the hotfix.

OS: Windows 2000 Prof, Service Pack 3.

 

I guess I'm not the only one that wants to send e-mail with other extensions than .com .

Am I missing something here?

Please download v4.9.0 and try that - I think this limitation was fixed in that release.

 

v4.9.1 out in a week (so I'm told) will have a completely new email sending server which fixes a couple of other issues as well..

I would like to, but my registration code is only valid for 4.8.X versions. Version 4.9.0 doesn't accept my registration code!

 

 

I've send my registration code to Katalina's Software Support by e-mail so that I would get to know why I can't register a version 4.9.X, this was their reply:

Can't Katalina just provide You-S-Me (the company I work for, and registrant) with a new registration code that works for the 4.9.1 version that's coming out?

and that's why you got that answer. I've found your order on our customer database and in your case we can issue the 4.9.x registration code for free - please email us the Unique ID generated by v4.9 and we'll send you the new code.
