Guest jifop Report post Posted 11/23/2004 11:48 AM i am having trouble getting my dialogic card to work, i installed the software as recommended and the computer finds the dialogic card quite happily, but the DCM does not auto detect it, when i add it manually i select the D/4PCI and set the pciID to "0x00" as 0 is the address on the card (wheel select thing) i set PciSlotNumber to "0x02" as thats the slot number according to device manager and i set PciBusNumber to "0x01" as device manager says it on bus 1 (device manager info: PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 1, device 1, function 0) IRQ = 22) however the service fails to start "error starting dialogic service" event viewer returns 4 errors "<DSS> RunProgsInKey : GenLoad.exe -LGenLoad.log returned fatal error. Intel-Dialogic System Service stopping" and "CTBBAPI.exe 51.01 bld 3 (release). 0x20000003 : CTBB_ERROR_NO_CLIENT: Client was not registered. Exit value : 0x3." and "<DSS> RunProgsInKey : CTBBAPI.exe -Lctbbapi.log -apiCTBB_RemoveFromTDMBus -clientDLGCSRAM returned fatal error--ignoring. <DSS> RunProgsInKey : genload.exe -gd returned fatal error--ignoring. Intel-Dialogic System Service stopped" and "The Dialogic System Service service terminated with service-specific error 16383." i cant disable Plug and play in my bios. any help greatly appreciated. tim Share this post Link to post

Can you also please post some screenshots of the various errors as well. Have you tried moving the card around to different PCI slots? What computer / motherboard are you using? SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/24/2004 08:17 PM Have you tried any other machines? The DCM (in SR 5.x) should detect the D/4PCI cards automatically. If it does not there is no point adding it manually - it will not work. If you are using a D/4PCIU or D/4PCIUF then you will need to also install the special update to the SR to allow you to see these cards in the DCM - or just install SR5.1.1 FP1 (Feature Pack 1).
