Guest Chris Scully Report post Posted 11/30/2004 12:50 PM We are using a multiple board system configured in a high end PC. 50 - 100 users dial into the 'Gate' system using modems, they very rarely fail to connect to the dialogic board(s). The users modem is then told to wait locally for a played back dial tone (ATW) from the dialogic board, as far as I can tell all this works very well. The problem of missing digits appears when the modem then sends the second sequence of digits. I have seen missing digits, extra digits and often no digits are collected by the dialogic board at all. I have spent many hours recreating these problems usually by introducing line noise or having the modem dial too fast or too slow. But these problems arise even in a perfect working environment. A conservative estimate of failed calls would be %10.....far too high!! The dialogic boards are using drivers 5.1 (soon 6). Many weeks of investigation into the boards, modem types and standards, line quality and providers keep leading me to problems with the boards. Am I right? And how do I fix this? Thank you. SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/30/2004 07:55 PM We have not encountered any problems with DTMF tone detection of Dialoigc cards - thre are some phones out there which do not send the DTMF tones well - maybe some modems out there have similar problems... Share this post Link to post
