DinoM Report post Posted 12/14/2004 01:54 AM Thanks SupportTeam, The above error seem to be fixed. But now, I cannot open a protected vgp file. I'm sure the password is correct Thanks DinoM Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 02:42 AM We have not seen any such problems here. Is this reproducible for you or is it just that particular VGP script? Here is a sample .VGP script. It's password is: aa Please try opening it on your system & let us know how you go. If you still are having problems maybe you could post your script along with what you think is it's password and we can see if it opens fine on our test systems. aa.vgp Share this post Link to post
DinoM Report post Posted 12/14/2004 03:40 AM Hi SupportTeam, Tried to open the aa.vgp after replaced the new version of VgGsd.exe. But it still display "Coluld not be load" when I open it at Script Designer. So strange, I have tried on 3 differnt PC. Thanks, DinoM Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 05:46 AM Very strange. Please update to attached .exe and try opening aa.vgp again, then post a screenshot of what you see. The 'could not be loaded' error message will now contain further info which should shed more light as to what is happening here. VgGsd_5.2.3023.zip Share this post Link to post
DinoM Report post Posted 12/14/2004 05:53 AM Dear SupportTeam, Please find the attached image for the strange error. Thanks, DinoM Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 06:24 AM The "-4" error means that the password is incorrect. Can you check that the Caps Lock key is not selected, so that you are in fact typing "aa" and not "AA"... Can you set up PcAnywhere or WinVNC on this machine so that we can log into it and test this directly? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 06:33 AM To give us a better picture of what if going on, can you please create a .vgp file with a simple password (eg: "aa") and post it here. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 08:01 AM We've logged into the customer's system and confirmed that this problem exists on their system. It looks like the problem had something to do with the 'code page conversion tables' settings that were enabled on that system. The system was based in Hong Kong and as such was set up to operate in Chinese as well as English. Disabling the Chinese 'code page conversion tables' fixed the problem. Share this post Link to post
