Guest Meenak Report post Posted 12/14/2004 01:06 AM Does VG support the functionality of outward dialling on receipt of an email thru an IMAP server and then it should wait until the person called answers the phone and deliver the email text message as voice? Also, can it take any inputs from the person on the phone (like a key pressed) and accordingly make an entry in a database? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2004 02:33 AM VoiceGuide can forward voicemail messages as an email message, but it does not come our-of-the-box with the ability to check email servers for incoming emails. This is something that would need to be written and the retrieved email can then be spoken as TTS within the VoiceGuide script which would be used for outgoing calls. Basically when the new email is retrieved a call would be added to the outgoing calls queue within VoiceGuide (see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Dial...alListInto.htm) and the text of the email can be passed to the script as a Result Variable. Then the contents of that Result Variable would be spoken using TTS within the script. Share this post Link to post
