All I want to do is to get an account number from caller and fax him back his invoice. I want to use the current connection and do not want to hang off and make a new call. Can VG handoff the connection to any other TAPI application to send a fax? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/16/2004 10:35 PM I theory TAPI supports it but there are no fax applications out there that will do it on the same call. You will need to queue the fax with WinFax (apparently SmartFax from www.ringcentral.com works as well) and the fax will be sent out on a new call. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/17/2004 09:02 AM 'Same call' handoff was never tested or released as a function precisely because thre are no applications out there that support this. Once you have your application working with 'Same call' handoff please let us know and supply the application to us and we can test it and enable that feature within VoiceGuide.
