SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/29/2004 10:31 PM This version will work with Robbed Bit as well. There should be instructions in the readme.txt file on how to set it up for Robbed Bit. Share this post Link to post
shirazk Report post Posted 12/29/2004 10:34 PM thisis all it says. nothing about robbed bit only ISDN iTo use "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" you will need to apply the included patch after installing VoiceGuide on your system. You will need to select the "Standard TAPI" option when installing VoiceGuide. To update VoiceGuide to ISDN version you will then need to: 1. place LinesConfig.xml in VG's \data\ subdirectory 2. place ktTelControl.ocx in Windows' \System32\ subdirectory 3. place libexpat.dll in Windows' \System32\ subdirectory 4. place VgMulti.exe and VgLv.exe in VG's main directory, overwriting previous files. 5. Open a DOS Command Window. (Start->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt) Change to Windows' \System32\ subdirectory using command: cd c:\Windows\System32 and run the following commands: regsvr32 -u tapiwrap.ocx regsvr32 ktTelControl.ocx 6. edit the LinesConfig.xml file to use a valid script if you have VoiceGuide installed in directory other then C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\ Start VG and call into the system. You should now hear the Calling Card demo script. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/29/2004 11:00 PM It does look like you have slightly old instructions. Here is the current version of that file: ---------------------------------------- VoiceGuide for Dialogic Installation Guide ---------------------------------------- To use "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" you will need to apply this patch after installing the downloadable VoiceGuide on your system. You will need to select the "Standard TAPI" option when installing VoiceGuide. To update VoiceGuide to the "for Dialogic" version you will then need to: 1. place Config.xml in VG's \data\ subdirectory 2. place ktTelControl.ocx in Windows' \System32\ subdirectory 3. place libexpat.dll in Windows' \System32\ subdirectory 4. place VgMulti.exe and VgLv.exe in VG's main directory, overwriting previous files. 5. Open a DOS Command Window. (Start->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt) Change to Windows' \System32\ subdirectory using command: cd c:\Windows\System32 and run the following commands: regsvr32 -u tapiwrap.ocx regsvr32 ktTelControl.ocx 6. If you are using something other then a 4 port analog card then you may need to edit the Config.xml file and specify which lines which you would like VoiceGuide to control. See the sample Config.xml files for examples of how to set up the Config.xml file for different systems. This step may be a bit tricky depending on which cards are installed in the system. If you have any problems email support@voiceguide.com or post your question in the support forum. 7. Edit the Config.xml file to use a valid script if you have VoiceGuide installed in directory other then C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\ Start VG and call into the system. You should now hear the Calling Card demo script. All sound files used with this system should be in following format: "PCM 8kHz 8bit Mono". ---------------------------------------- Notes for Robbed Bit installations: ---------------------------------------- Protocol should be: "pdk_us_mf_io" or "us_mf_io" ---------------------------------------- Notes for CAS installations: ---------------------------------------- Protocol should be: "xx_r2_io" Where "xx" stands for the initials of the country in which you are running the system.
