Vg Hangs Up After A Second Before Your Hear Anythi

I have tried to download ver 5.1.1 from Intel but once downloaded it say I have a bad archive, so I downloaded ver 5.0.1

I have no idea what is wrong here.

Also re-installed the TAPI driver.

Have a look at the script that you have selected to use.

 

 

That script does not ship with any sound files - you need to record your own sound file and assign that file to be played in the module [Welcome].

 

Trace shows that no sound file is specified in that module right now:

Dialogic Wave driver prefers sound files in the following format PCM 11025Hz, 8bit, Mono. When using a Dialogic card, all sound files should be recorded in this format.

Could you please .ZIP up and post the Market Value.wav sound file that you are using.

 

I'd probably just re-install the Dialogic wave drivers as well.

I will zip the file to you when I'm back in the office, I also removed both the wave drivers and the Dialogic driver 5.0.1 and have installed version 5.1.1, rebooted and installed the wave driver and also left the configuration set for "default" on the dialogic card settings under "Modem",,."Advance"

 

Drivers loaded with no problems.

 

The time zone difference is hard to work with, but I appreciate all your efforts.

Let me make another note,. VG seems to pickup and run the script till the end and then hang up.

The file looks OK, so the problem seems to be with the Wave drivers. Can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony card only.

 

To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers.

 

You may have to disable the sound card altogether as well to stop Windows from automatically loading it's drivers - to do this just select "Disable" and then select "Uninstall" from the Device Manager.

VG seems to pickup and run the script till the end and then hang up.

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures this.

I removed the wave drivers for dialogic card and uninstalled the sound card and disable it also. I then re-installed the wave driver and rebooted system.

 

I was able to run the dialogic "Horoscope" application with no problems, I tried to run VG afterwards and I have the same issue, I recorded the log file:

Is there a way you can connect to my system and check this? I realize the time zone differance since I'm in the USA but, I can come in anytime to make this work even leave the system online while you check.

 

I need to move past this problem and on to bigger issues in planning the layout of this whole thing and cant move past this... what would seem like a simple problem (but we know better in the real world) of just pickup and start playing the recorded message.

Well I reformated the system, removed the sound card.

 

The installed Windows 2000 with SP4, performed a windows update..rebooted.

 

1. Installed Intel 5.1.1 driver, rebooted..ran DCM with no problems..used Horoscope.exe to test the driver,..ran with no problems.

2. installed MDAC 2.8

3. Installed wave driver..rebooted

4. installed VG,..no issues on install

5. used the same file I sent you to test with and came up with the same problem or so it seems, picks up and you hear nothing on the phone, then hangs up.

THe credit card demo script does not work for me also, the same problem happens.

Dialogic card answers the call and then hangs up.
