Guest Mark Vojvodich Report post Posted 01/01/2005 02:19 PM Your documentation states that these boards (1) are suitable for the Dialout and Conference method of call transfers using two lines. A forum search did not show any data on the D41D except an old link that was out. We just downloaded and paid for VG and were looking at install options. In the D41-D 4 Port docs it states it has a "bridge" capability which would appear to permit dialout and conference type "three way" calls conncting to lines. Is there other information known by users or software limitations in VoiceGuide that prevents that from working? The reason is we have 5 of these boards on hand and it would save of system costs if the D-41D Rev can be used. One of our installs is from a land line to a second line (cell line) as the dialout as 90% of the transfes are to similar cells where the call time is free, cell to cell. If not, what is a good 2 or 4 line alternative board generally available used that is a known compatible board with VoiceGuide and the Dialout and Conference method, and maybe we can do some trading on the D-41D's. Thanks in advance, Mark (1) "Dialout and Conferencecan only be done with these Dialogic cards: D/41EPCI, D/41ESC, D/41JCTLS, D/120JCTLS, D/160SC-LS and all digital cards: D/240SC, D/300SC etc" Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/02/2005 12:02 AM D41D cannot be used for Dialout and Conference. You will need one of the cards listed in the Documentations (as you quoted). The best card to use is the D/41JCT. It's a 4 ports card. Share this post Link to post
