Transfers With Vg For Dialogic

Hi,

I have loaded the new VG for Dialogic patch which you sent us and have a couple of questions;

- Announced transfers do not seem to work anymore (just seems to not respond to accepting or rejecting the call)...I assume from your sample script with the patch that I now need to use a Conf Announced Tranfer...or am I missing something

 

- Even when I use conf announced transfers (with success & fail path as per eg script path 3) then it does not seem to detect a busy extension...see trace below

 

Please advise what I should try

Please try using a path of "BUSY" in your transfer module.

Is there any help on how to use these (seemingly) new commands such as BUSY, NOANSWER etc? I don't think I am following your 3wayannounced.vgs example and why there are all the PlaySoundFile Modules included.

The old scripts should still work. The PBX Announced Transfers (and all other transfer ways) are supported.

 

The new path options (BUSY, NOANSWER etc) are now available to allow you better control over what to do in various situations - as opposed to just 'Success' and ''Fail' paths which were available to you before.

 

The names of the new paths are mostly self-explanatory.

 

The various PlaySound modules are used in the demo script to give the test caller some feedback as to what is happening with the script at any given time.

This quick summary shows what path triggers you can use in the Call Transfer modules in "VoiceGuide for Dialogic".

 

Two response trees are shown. One for Successful transfer and one for unsuccessful.

 

The boxes at the very bottom of each subtree are the initial triggers received. If they are not defined in the module then VG will go up the tree and at each node will check if the module defined that particular path. If it did then it will take that path.

 

The words in UPPER CAPS are the paths that can be used.

Thanks for your help...maybe we are chasing the wrong issue. I have gone back to my previously working script (see attached). It plays the welcome message but when a selection is made it does not do the transfer. (seems to think transfer took to long).

 

Is this because the hookflash config is controlled differently in VG for Dialogic? We have a Panasonic K816 PBX.

 

I have attached the trace and would appreciate your thoughts
