Voice Interrupts Message

Occasionally, when a caller chooses a specific message the voicemail interrupts the message. This doesn't happen every time. I have not been able to repeat the problem consistently but some callers complain that the message was interrupted by voice mail and they were unable to listen to the message they chose. It doesn't happen with each of the messages. I have only been able to recreate the problem on one specific choice, but not consistently. I re-recorded the message in an effort to resolve the problem to no avail. Any help would be welcomed.

Trace shows that about 16 seconds into playing a sound file Taylor-dn.wav Voiceguide was informed that a DTMF tone '1' was heard on the line - and it looks like you have a path in that module which will take caller to the "Leave Voicemail Message" scripts:

Are you using a voice modem? Many voice modems will falsely detect DTMF tones...

The best solution is to get a Dialogic card.

I am using a voice modem it's a BCN V.90 (Broadcom) that came with the Dell Dimension 2400. I have since changed the menu item (voice mail) to the number 0 instead of 1. If I still get the DTMF tone '1' in the log it should be ignored. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Any other suggestions would be helpful as the price of dialogic modems is a bit out of my current budget.
