Guest gregsallee Report post Posted 01/29/2005 10:54 PM Running VoiceGuide for Dialogic with a D/4PCIU card, is it possible to detect DTMF tones generated by the caller without first answering the call? What I would like to do here is to allow callers "in the know" (i.e. myself) to drop into an IVR script by keying a code before the phone is answered. I'll use the IVR to access data from my computer/internet remotely by cell phone. Of course, I could hit the IVR automatically, but then if I really wanted to talk to someone at home, it would be difficult to re-ring the house phones after auto-answering with the IVR. Since Dialogic does distinguish DTMF tones, it seems like there ought to be a way to capture them before answering.... Share this post Link to post
