SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/05/2005 04:51 AM from http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/SoundFiles.htm : Windows Voice Modem Wave driver can only support sound files in the following format PCM 8000Hz, 16bit, Mono. When using Voice modems all sound files must be recorded in the above format. Dialogic Wave driver prefers sound files in the following format PCM 11025Hz, 8bit, Mono. When using a Dialogic card, all sound files should be recorded in the above format. Do the sound files provided with VoiceGuide play OK? Share this post Link to post
Guest Guest_Doris Report post Posted 02/05/2005 03:14 PM Thanks for quick response. 1) the format is recorded in voiceguide itself without any futher modification. 2) we can only test it til monday. However, the sentence like "there is an error playing the file. please check the file format" can be played clearly over the phone. Any idea? Thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/05/2005 10:07 PM the format is recorded in voiceguide itself The Script Designer does not record any sound files itself - it just starts the Sound Recorder app and you have to ensure that it will be doing the recording in the correct format...
