Hi,

 

We perhaps want to use Voiceguide for marketresearch.

Therefore I have a question about the licenses, you buy this per line but does this mean this will be available for one telephone number or one incoming telephone call?

 

Does anybody has experience with Voiceguide for marketresearch?

A 'line' mans a telephone line - like the line that you plug into your telephone handset. (A T1 has 24 lines and an E1 has 30 lines).

 

By 'market research' do you mean 'telephone surveys' ? VoiceGuide is used in many 'telephone survey' type applications - they are quite easy to put together..

Thank you for this, we see a lot of IVR solutions with marketresearch, products like Nice FeedBack, Twinkle and www.echosurvey.com.

 

We want to try to find a solution but without investing a lot, seems to be that VoiceGuide is a good solution.

It is very easy to set up the phone based questionnaire - you would basically just set up a list of Play modules each one playing a sound file asking a question and letting the person on the other end of the line to just key in or record their responses.

 

The responses are stored in a variety of easy to work with log files including comma delimited and XML format.

 

You can always store them in a database of your choice by using the DBQuery module, or export them using the various functions accessible to you in VBScript module and Run Program module.

That's great, is it also possible to send data also to PDA's or Mobile phones?

Yes, you can call SMS sending programs from within VG's Run Program or Run VBScript modules.
