Guest Guest_vinesh Report post Posted 02/16/2005 12:07 PM hi, is there away to disable user inputs while a sound file is being played ? we have a really really big script, and i've recently noticed if i key in the commands too quickly or before i'm prompted to; the system goes really really slow and then voiceguide program just closes, i have to reboot the pc to try again... is this a bug with the voiceguide program? (i'm using the modified vbgmulti.exe file that supports * as in input) thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/16/2005 12:19 PM We haven't observed any such behavior. Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is happening. Also please tell us more about your system (CPU/RAM etc) or just use the "System Info" button on the "About VoiceGuide" window to start the System Info app and use it to save all System Info to a file and post it here. As for not reacting to user input while a sound file is playing, have a look at the attached script, and see how the first module will play the file fully before the user input is accepted. Also, in VG.INI file, section [moduleGetNbrs], see OnGetNumbersRxDigit - but this setting is only for "Get Numbers" modules. PlayWithoutListeningForKeypresses.vgs Share this post Link to post
