Guest Gerrit Olivier Report post Posted 02/18/2005 11:27 PM I am using a D/4PCI card in a 4 line VG application. All is working well except when I try to do 3-way conference calling. My service provider has enabled 3-way conferencing and I have tested it manually with a normal handset. When I perform the same action with VG the caller does not get a transfer in progress tone, but a different tone (as if the call was disconnected). The called number does not ring and the 3 calls can not be connected together. Why would it work manually but not automatically? gerrit@cestates.co.za Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/18/2005 11:51 PM a different tone (as if the call was disconnected). Sounds like the Dialogic card's hookflash length is set too high. Read the VoiceGuide Help file's "Configuring Call Transfers and Conferencing" section: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Dial...llTransfers.htm Share this post Link to post
Guest Gerrit Olivier Report post Posted 02/18/2005 11:56 PM I have set the time on 100ms, 200ms, 350ms and 500ms with the same results. Please find attached a copy of the trace log file. New_Text_Document__3_.txt Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/19/2005 12:21 AM Trace shows that hookflash is taking a long time: 012756.88 19 tapic lineGenerateDigits(65697,!,0) => 0 012757.55 19 generate LINEGENERATETERM_DONE Have you set the hookflash length both in .PRM file and in the TSP? Did you restart the Dialogic service after making the changes? Share this post Link to post
Guest Gerrit Olivier Report post Posted 02/19/2005 04:38 AM Thank you, but how long should the hookflash length be? 100ms or 250ms ? Share this post Link to post
Guest Gerrit Olivier Report post Posted 02/19/2005 05:29 AM Thank you. I edited the .prm files and it is working fine. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/19/2005 08:05 AM Most PBXs and Telco Switches like their hookflash at around 100ms. Share this post Link to post
