andrew Report post Posted 02/20/2005 04:05 AM Hi, My dialogic modem was working fine with the eval license. So, I purchased an enterprise single line license. VoiceGuide registered fine initially. I had two phone lines in the evaluation config: One was from dialogic, another was a regular voice modem. So, I had remove one of two phone lines in the evaluation copy config to get the license to see the dialogic line as this license allow only one line. I don't think removing a line out of your configuration works properly as it got me to remove the modem from the system via poping up the windows control form modem! Then VoiceGuide started reporting that Wave drivers are not installed for dialogic, even though it was working fine with it before registration and reconfig to single line. Removing Re-installing the dialogic system software did not help. I even reinstalled the Voiceguide which has now added the issue that my registration is no longer valid and it will not run my large script! I chacked in the phone control and the TSP is installed correctly for dialgoic. I don't know where else to check why this error is coming. I am attaching screen shot of the TSP dialog Issue.doc Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/20/2005 04:17 AM Sounds like you are having problems with Wave drivers ion your system, Can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. Test the system than and if all works then try to re-install your sound card drivers. To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers. You may have to disable the sound card altogether as well to stop Windows from automatically loading it's drivers - to do this just select "Disable" and then select "Uninstall" from the Device Manager. Make sure the Dialogic service is started before starting VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
andrew Report post Posted 02/20/2005 09:17 AM Disabling the Creative Sound Blaster in Sound and Video Controllers in Device manager and reinstalling the Dialogic Wave driver did the trick. Thank you. The Voiceguide registeration also worked as the Unique ID is back to what I had before!! Not sure what was going on, but thanks a lot for your help and guidance. I am happily back in business. The only remainging issue is that the path defaulting for sound files in the script seems to have changed. I had an OGM directory with my wave files and the script was finding these files just fine when I entered just the name of the file. Now the sound files seem to require the full pathname. Even 1.wav does not work. Rather than changing 60+ modules, I am hoping to find a way to set the defaulting as before. Any pointers appreciated. -Andrew Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/20/2005 09:10 PM The path to 'system' voice files is reset by VG every time a new call is answered or a new call is made... The only way to change it is to set a new value to $RV[DIRSYSTEMVOICE] You can of course try setting the $RV[DIRSYSTEMVOICE] to point to the same directory again... see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Mult...ti-language.htm Share this post Link to post
