amplio Report post Posted 05/13/2003 01:31 PM Using sample script (any of them), caller dials in, call is received, "open" message begins and then suddenly ends and hangs up on caller. Event Log is attached... Help is appreciated! log.txt Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/13/2003 01:44 PM It looks like the wave driver on your system does not play the sound file properly, and soon after starting play Windows informs VoiceGuide that the busy tone was heard on the line - which means that Windows regards the call as finished - so VoiceGuide has no choice but to hangup the call. What modem are you using? (can you try using another one?) What version of Windows are you using? 79917 0 [Welcome] Playing 79924 0 [Welcome] Playing (IpWelcome.wav) 80016 0 PlaySoundStart ok [C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Internet Portal\IpWelcome.wav] 80021 0 RunModule PLAY end 80644 0 tapie callstate DISCONNECTED 4330816,1,0 Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/19/2003 05:02 AM If you have the same problem then I guess the same answer would apply: It looks like the wave driver on your system does not play the sound file properly, and soon after starting play Windows informs VoiceGuide that the busy tone was heard on the line - which means that Windows regards the call as finished - so VoiceGuide has no choice but to hangup the call. Are you sure it is the same problem? Can you post an Event Log from your system which captures an incoming call? If the modem that you have is giving you such problems then the only solution is to try a different modem... there are a significant number of modems out there which just do not support TAPI/Wave drivers very well... just one of the reasons to buy a Dialogic card... SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/19/2003 05:50 AM well yes, it does look like your modem has a very similar problem.. 46181 0 [Raymond] Playing 46191 0 [Raymond] Playing (C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Internet Portal\IpNasdaq.wav) 46461 0 PlaySoundStart ok [C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Internet Portal\IpNasdaq.wav] 46471 0 RunModule PLAY end 46932 0 tapie callstate DISCONNECTED 65541,1,0 46932 0 LsPlayMsg EV_REMOTEPARTY_DISCONNECT If the same happens as soon as VoiceGuide tries to play a sound file, regardless of which sound file it is or what script you are running then it looks like that modem has a major problem with it's TAPI and Wave drivers on your system... if removing and then re-installing the modem's drivers does not help, and the manufacturer has not released updated drivers which work better then the only solution is to get another modem...
