andrew Report post Posted 02/22/2005 05:57 PM Hi, I understand that even though one can specify multiple wav files separated by commas in a Play module, one can not listen to the module being played during design mode. It is very cumbersome, not to mention risky to have to put such a module in production before verifying it in design mode. Any plans to fix this soon? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/22/2005 09:57 PM Ultimately the best way to test the system is to call into it. Many times the sound file expressions contain Result Variables as part of their specified filename, which limits them form being played from within the design environment as well. There is some work in the pipeline to allow you to play multiple sound files from Script Designer after specifying the values for the various RVs present in their filename - but this is some way off yet. andrew Report post Posted 02/23/2005 12:33 AM Thanks for the reply. I understand the issues, however, there are a may Play modules w/o complications and variables that are just augmentation of wav files and listening to them quickly allows for detecting any odd silenses, or need for a pause when they are played in real time. So, I suggest solving the simple one first. It will go a long ways. Along the same path, a phone call emulator would be nice. Again, it is understood that it can't do transfers or other fancy stuff, but it can go a long ways speeding up desing. Thanks for taking the suggestions. Share this post Link to post
