halnet Report post Posted 05/13/2003 05:25 PM RE: v4.9.0 When doing voice mail broadcasting, how do I cause the system to pause and then resume where the system left off, at a later time? For example, I have 4000 phone listings. The dialer has already dialed 1500 phone numbers. Now I want to pause so that the dialing stops. I shut down the computer and turn it back on the next day. I do not want VG to start dialing until I tell it to do so. As I have it now, as soon as I turn on the Dialogic card (D/4PCI), and start the VG program, it starts dialing automatically before I want it to. Please advise Hal Netkin Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/14/2003 05:13 AM When VoiceGuide is running select "View device properties" - this will display information about each device/line that VoiceGuide is controlling - including the number of rings before the call is answered and which script is used by VoiceGuide when the call is answered. Another option there is "Enable Outbound Dialing on this line". When this check box is cleared VoiceGuide will not dial out on the selected line. So if you clear this check box before closing down VoiceGuide, it will not automatically start dialing next time you start it. Share this post Link to post
