Is it possible to get a complete list of result variables that are available when using analogue phone lines with Voice Guide?

Is there a complete list, which also differentiates between analog and digital lines?

DNIS is only available on Digital lines.

 

It can be available on analog lines if it's supplied as Inband Signaling - but in that case you would create your own RV anyway...

 

DNIS is the only RV which would be available on Digital only.

Would you mind explaining Inband Signalling and how we can achieve that (in Aus)?

 

DNIS is quite important to the IVR we are developing (with VoiceGuide), and is currently the only reason we are considering digital lines initially. (Even though we may scale up to digital eventually).

Inband Signaling must be supported by the PBX (very few telephone companies provide the Inband Signaling service).

NB. No Australian phone companies provide Inband Signaling. If you want DNIS then you'll need to get the Digital E1 ISDN lines.
