Adam Report post Posted 03/11/2005 08:45 PM Hi, I use the built in voicemail with the latest version of Voiceguide, and it sends email just fine after someone leaves a message. There are 2 mailboxes on my system and each user has different email addresses, but there can only be one email template for all the mailboxes. When Jim (Mailbox 0001) gets and message I want the email to say, "Jim new message" in the email subject, and when Neil (Mailbox 0002) get a message I want the email subject to say, "Neil new message". But the email tab in the voicemail cannot be configured for each user. It can only store 1 template. Am I overlooking something or is there another way to solve this problem? Thanks, Adam Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/11/2005 09:29 PM Result Variables can be used as part of the email template to customize it. This would be hard to work with however for the types of changes that you want. Please update your v5.2.3b install with attached .exe - this .exe will pick up email definition files on a per-voicemailbox basis. Create these test files in VG's directory: \system\vm\EmailForwardTemplate_XXXX_subject.txt \system\vm\EmailForwardTemplate_XXXX_body.txt Where XXXX is to be replaced by the voicemail box number. You can still use RV's within those text files as well. VgMulti_5.2.3071.zip Share this post Link to post

ktruk Report post Posted 05/01/2005 09:53 PM I have VG version 5.2.3066 and would like to have customised email subject and body texts too. Can I just install this new version here without any worries or other changes from my current version. What would really be helpful is a list of minor release changes in a list somewhere - perhaps just for registered users if you prefer? I would really appreciate this if possible. Thx - Tim. SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/02/2005 12:42 AM Yes, you can just update the 5.2.3066 with the attached file, overwriting previous .EXE (you can always just backup the previou8s .EXE temporarily if you want). Share this post Link to post
