jtdagger Report post Posted 03/18/2005 04:38 PM When an outbound call is made, all I hear is the message that I have specified. I know that the 'AcceptAutoCall.wav' file is supposed to play since I am using a voice modem, but I never hear it. Here is the log of an outbound call that was just made. 112124.26 1 dial [31,6459010,503181120,1,2359,MoTuWeThFrSaSu,,3,C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav,NONE,C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav,Ending Time: 12452356,30,2,120,,none] 112124.26 1 rv clear 112124.28 0 dial callque update id=31 next call time 0503181321 112124.29 0 dial callque DB update returned 112124.29 1 dial found entry: tel[6459010] ann[C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav] vgs[NONE] am[C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav] LineSelection:[] 112124.44 1 Dialing: 6459010 112124.45 1 MakeCall => 65623 112124.46 1 timer set 30 EV_TIMEOUT_MAKECALL_NORESPONSE 112124.46 1 TapiCbTrigSet 65623 7002 112124.47 0 dial start any summary:|1:dial=0| 112124.49 1 tapi Reply (LineEvReply) ok 65623 0 112124.49 1 TapiCbTrigClear 112124.51 1 callstate DIALING 65657 0 0 112124.52 1 callstate PROCEEDING 65657 0 0 112125.48 0 dial start any summary:|1:hc>0| 112128.75 1 callstate CONNECTED 65657 0 0 112128.76 1 callstate CONNECTED 65657,0,0 112128.77 1 WorkingModeTAPI@Connected= 112128.77 1 WorkingModeScript@Connected= 112128.79 1 rv add [PathSysVoice]{C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\system\voice\} 112128.80 1 rv add [PathApp]{C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\} 112128.81 1 rv add [PathDataVm]{C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\} 112128.82 1 rv add [PathVgSys]{C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\system\} 112128.82 1 rv add [OutDial_RetriesLeft]{2} 112128.83 1 rv add [$RV_STARTTIME]{3/18/2005 11:21:28 AM} 112128.84 1 rv add [$RV_DEVICEID]{1} 112128.85 1 rv add [$RV_CIDNAME]{} 112128.85 1 AddRVns [PathApp]{C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\} 112128.86 1 rv add [$RV_CALLEDNUMBER]{6459010} 112128.87 1 Dialing: Playing introduction message 112128.88 1 ERROR 5.2.3063 Loading Script err=-1, NONE 112128.89 1 play set playid=927657 112129.14 1 PlaySoundStart ok [C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav] 112129.15 1 timer clear 112129.18 1 wa(9683,92765700) 112138.85 1 play end current play (playid=927657) 112138.86 1 ScriptEventCode 8001 iLineState=1150 112138.87 1 LsDialoutPlayAcceptAuto EV_PLAY_FINISHED 112138.88 1 Replay 1/10 (see VG.INI section [VGDialer] entry AnnReplay) 112138.88 1 play set playid=937652 112139.18 1 PlaySoundStart ok [C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav] 112139.18 1 timer clear 112139.21 1 wa(9683,93765200) 112144.18 1 dtmf 5 (65657,53,2) 112144.19 1 ScriptEventCode 53 iLineState=1150 112144.19 1 LsDialoutPlayAcceptAuto 5 112147.37 1 PlaySoundStop err=0 112147.37 2 tr NewVgsVgm_Goto NONE,,,,,0 112147.38 1 rv add [scriptEnd_Time]{3/18/2005 11:21:47 AM} 112147.39 1 rv add [scriptEnd_Goto_Script]{NONE} 112147.40 1 rv add [scriptEnd_Goto_Module]{} 112147.41 1 rv add [scriptStart_Time]{3/18/2005 11:21:47 AM} 112147.42 0 LoadedVgs_Find at idx=2 112147.43 1 AddRVns [scriptsPath]{} 112147.43 1 Error: no modules in script NONE 112147.44 0 dial callque delete id=31 112147.46 1 AddRVns [OutDial_Result]{Contacted_Human} 112206.03 1 callstate DISCONNECTED 65657 32 0 112206.03 1 ScriptEventCode 9250 iLineState=1150 112206.04 1 LsDialoutPlayAcceptAuto EV_REMOTEPARTY_DISCONNECT 112206.05 1 dial retries remaining 1, next dial at 3/18/2005 1:22:06 PM 112206.06 0 dial callque update id=31 next call time 0503181322 112206.07 0 dial callque DB update returned 112206.08 1 rv add [Hangup Time]{3/18/2005 11:22:06 AM} 112206.09 1 Hanging up call... SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/18/2005 04:51 PM 'AcceptAutoCall.wav' is used unless an alternative prompts sound file is specified - which is what you have done. Screenshot and trace shows that you have specified that 1234_0318101312_1_1__.wav be used as your prompt file... This is a bad approach if you are still using a voice modem - the 'prompt' file should be asking caller to basically 'press any key to accept call'. If using a Dialoigc card the prompt file is not used at all as there is no need for it. Share this post Link to post
jtdagger Report post Posted 03/18/2005 05:12 PM I will be getting a Dialogic card in the next few weeks, but would like to come up with a temporary solution. Many of the numbers I call, will be picked up by an answering machine. My approach allows me to play the message to the answer machine instead of the 'press a button message'. The down side is that when a person picks up, they do not know to press a button to accept the message, so they are not being removed from the outbound queue. Calls picked up by answering machines are obviously not being removed from the queue either. This is a downer, but most importantly I need the message itself to be delivered. Is it possible to play 2 .wav files as the prompt? The first one could be informing the person to press a button to accept and the second could be the message itself. I tried to accomplish this by separating the files with a comma, but it did not work. Thanks for your help. I am looking forward to the Dialogic card! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/18/2005 09:35 PM You will not get an acceptable message delivery system going with a voice modem. Is it possible to play 2 .wav files as the prompt? Please update your v5.3.2b install with attached .exe - you should be able to specify multiple comma delimited sound files for the 'prompts message' then.
