Cid_number Always Empty !

Hello,

 

I'm testing VG 5.2.3b with a Dialogic card D/41JCT-LS and the samples you give. It seems that the CID_NUMBER is not available. The problem is that I'm sure that number is available because I've tested with other phone in my company (I've also tested with a direct line). I'm in France and I have selected this country option for the Dialogic card. Is there a parameter to make it works ?

 

Please help me because without CID_NUMBER I can't develop my application.

Do you know in what format the phone company is sending the CallerID information in?

 

Have you spoken with the local Dialogic distributor asking them why isn't the Dialogic card detecting the CallerID?

Thanks for your quick answer.

 

I've just have the solution from the technician of my company : it's necessary to buy a soft from the autoswitch provider to allow the CID number to be read. This capability is allowed only on digital phone in my company !

... so I take it that you were using a PBX, and not having the telephone company's lines plugged straight into the Dialogic card....
