Guest Guest_mael Report post Posted 05/12/2005 11:15 AM Hello, I have a D/41D ISA voice card, works with intel dialogic samples programs, but voiceguide doesn't work when i try a sample, it answer after 5 rings, I see "hung up , playing sound" but I hear nothing and after 1 second it disconnect. In the journal viewer, nothing but just a time of my call. Where should be the problem? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/12/2005 11:13 PM Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the incoming call, this will allow us to see what is going on. When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call. You can enable the automatic saving of the logs to files in \log\ directory as well. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/18/2005 02:00 PM In trace we see: 113126,30 3 PlaySoundStart err=[0 play PlaySoundStart ResetWavOutAndContinuePlay=>2,play pss EnsureWaveOutIsOpenAndReady=>play waveOutOpen failed MMSYSERR_BADDEVICEID] [C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Internet Portal\IpWelcome.wav] Sounds like the cards Wave drivers were not correctly installed - can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. Try calling in after doing this, and if the sound can be heard over the phone you can then try to re-install your sound card drivers. To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double click on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers. You may have to disable the sound card altogether as well to stop Windows from automatically loading it's drivers - to do this just select "Disable" and then select "Uninstall" from the Device Manager. Another option is to just install "VG for Dialogic" - that version does not use the Wave drivers. This is really the best way to go. See our WWW downloads page for download link. mael Report post Posted 06/10/2005 04:46 PM I found the problem: Files format are not compressed. For my dialogic card, my files format need to be compressed with: CCITT u-Law format Share this post Link to post
