Guest huwla Report post Posted 05/17/2005 02:40 AM Will an internet phone line Vonage work with VoiceGuide? If so, it is really necessary to have a dialogic card or voice modem? Thx Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/17/2005 04:45 AM Yes, you will need a Dialogic card (or modem...). Just attach the converter box from Voyage to a port on the Dialogic card. Share this post Link to post
Guest Daniel Report post Posted 05/20/2005 05:31 PM I have a Vonage line and VG has no trouble answering calls, but I can't seems to make it dial out, it starts, then immediately stops and dumps the record into the Outdial_SIT_Unkown log file. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/20/2005 11:37 PM Looks like Vonage is playing a 3-tone (SIT tone) when making an outbound call - a tone that is usually used to indicate that the phone network is unable to make a connection. When you make a call manually do you hear any 3-tone signals being played on the line after you dial the number? Does the call still get connected after that signal is played? Guest Daniel Report post Posted 05/23/2005 05:30 PM When I pick up the phone, I do her a few beeps until it stabilizes into a dial tone, after dialing everything behaves as normal though, the calls do complete. Does this help? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/23/2005 10:19 PM Can you ask Vonage what are those beeps and why are they played? Can you record them the beeps please and post the .WAV file here (.ZIPped up). Share this post Link to post
