trouble Report post Posted 05/18/2005 12:05 AM Hi, We are using VG 6.0.1046 We would like to do an announced transfer and have the VG system detect when the extension is picked up and then play the announce message. What path would we use to do this? Can we use the CONNECT, AM, VOICE, CADENCE, LOOPCURRENT paths in this case? Can you give an example. At the moment our staff have to say something when they pickup the phone for VG to play the announce message and we would like to do away with this. SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/18/2005 12:22 AM detect when the extension is picked up You need to have some integration with the PBX in order for the PBX to inform VG that a particular extension went off-hook. Does your PBX have any CTI interfaces to it? Can it maybe be set to signal in some other way that transfer destination extension has been picked up, eg. by dropping loop current?
