Voice Format Using Intel Dialogic

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We're using a Intel Dialogic D/300SC-E1 with Voice Guide 5.2.2, and it´s working fine about answer calls. However, the wave files, that we're using to answer the calls, are played slowly. We have tried to record the voices (wave files) in some formats (8.000Khz, 8Bit, Mono... 11.025Khz, 8bit, mono, etc...) but the problem persists.

Which of the wave formats should I use?

With VoiceGuide v5.2.2 you should use 11kHz, 8bit, Mono, PCM.

I'd recommend to download the "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" patch. That version should be used with all T1/E1 lines.

"VoiceGuide for Dialogic" uses 8kHz, 8bit, Mono, PCM.

We were having the same issue with slow playback of our .wav files. The sample .wav files provided with the VoiceGuide software are recorded as PCM 8kHz, 16bit, mono even though the VoiceGuide documentation suggests recording .wav files as PCM 8kHz, 8bit, mono. Changing to 8kHz, 16bit, mono resolved the slow playback issue for us.

Kindest regards,

-LT
