Are there recommended system requirements for using VoiceGuide?

Are there recommended requirements in addition to minimum requirements?

 

I've set it up on a Windows 2000 PC with a 1.70 GHz processor and

261 megs of RAM.

So far just one. The card we have (D/4PCIUF) supports up to four

but I doubt we would need more than three.

System specs sound sufficient for a 4 line system.

What about 120 line per system ? using Intel D/MV1200-4E1, What is the minimum system requirements ?

For our test system here which uses D/MV1200-4E1 card we have:

 

2.8GHz P4 (single CPU) and 1GB RAM, running Windows SBS2003.

 

That should be sufficient for all 120 lines used at the same time.

Do you know if Dialogic boards will run under a system using an AMD Athlon CPU and Motherboard, or must they be Intel?

 

We currently have 3 higher-end systems (2.5MHz, 1GB Ram, etc.) running under AMD architecture and wish to use those if possible?

All of our test systems are Intel based.

 

We're not aware of any problems, but I suspect that if Intel were asked their answer would be that an Intel CPU based system should be used...

 

You can probably just try and see if it works OK...

thanx for reply .. so if I want to use VG in my system which is equiped with DM V1200 4E1 , I need to :

1- install VG software .

2- Add VG for Dialogic Patch .

3- buy 2 liscences of Entprise edition each with 60 lines .

 

Is that correct ? do I need any other thing ?

That's all there is to it.

 

Are you using E1 ISDN lines? What ISDN protocol are you using on these lines?
