Hangup Problem

hi,

 

I use VG and Intel Dialogic. I can not detect the hangup signal while the other party has hung up. A copy of my hangup signal is attached. Please someone have a look at my hangup signal. I do not know how to get frequency value.

The sound file does not contain anything apart from a click halfway through it...

Is that when you hung up the phone?

Yes, the click is made when the phone is hung up. This click is the only thing recorded when other party hung up.

In that case it looks like there is not disconnect tone played at all...

 

From the trace it looks like the loop current is not dropped either on thins line, so there is no way of telling when the call has finished on this line...

 

Scripts will just need to timeout when awaiting input and will hangup then.

 

It is very unusual for the phone company not to play a disconnect tone when caller has hung up...
