Guest Guest_bleach Report post Posted 06/26/2005 07:23 AM howdy. i've been using voiceguide since the 5.x series was released and one thing that i've liked is the ability to change and save scripts even while VG was open, so long as it wasn't the main script that gets loaded for a call or a script that was currently in use by a caller, which would just result in that session hanging up. a couple weeks ago i had serious hardware failure problems and ended up installing the latest VG for the sake of active development, but i've noticed that i can't do my save tricks anymore and it's really hurting productivity having to shut down our lines anytime a save needs to be done, because we have constant traffic 24/7. do you know if any other people miss this feature or of any work arounds? saving in 5.2.4 Enterprise always results in VG freezing and acting up until a reboot is done. not that big of a deal, just wondering if you know of a solution. thanks in advance. SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/26/2005 08:59 AM We have not seen any problems when updating scripts while VoiceGuide is running. You should be able to save scripts which are used at the time and/or are starting scripts - there are no limitations there. The newly saved scripts will then be used with all future calls, while current calls continue to use current scripts. Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem on your system, this will allow us to see what is happening. When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call. You can enable the automatic saving of the logs to files in \log\ directory as well. Share this post Link to post
