Guest Dennis Abraham Report post Posted 06/02/2003 12:42 AM THis is not documented - at least I haven't found it - but in VG.ini there is a parm: PopupCallerID= Mine was set to 2 and the popup would not occur. The trace log reports that caller id is incomplete and it had a comma after the number. This indicated (I guess) it also wanted the name to be sent. In checking with my phone company, they only send the number in the service I have. On a guess I chnged this to a 1 and the popup worked! I would guess that indicates only look for the number while 2 indicates wait for both number and name. I can only guess that the value of 0 or blank might mean ignore - I have not tested it - or it could be accept any combination or ?? Any comment from Support??
